This Online Laser Training course is intended for beauty therapists, nurses, and doctors intending to use powerful lasers and IPL systems to perform cosmetic skin therapy in a clinical situation. It is also suitable for healthcare professionals wishing to use these devices for the treatment of disease, disorder or injury.
This distance-learning programme provides you with the necessary basic knowledge about light-based therapy and shares with you over 20 years of experience in light-based technology safety and skin therapy science.

  13. Describe laser & intense light source output spectrum and relevance of beam size and shape
  14. Describe laser beam and intense light delivery systems

  16. Understand the registration requirements under various jurisdictions
  17. Understand the roles of authorised users, laser/IPL safety supervisor, and laser protection adviser
  18. Have a working knowledge of relevant national and  international laser and intense light safety     standards, regulations and guidelines
  19. Understand emergency action, accident procedure and reporting
  20. Understand non-laser intense light source regulations that apply to establishments providing cosmetic technology services
